As outlined in Chapter 9 of the textbook, when a court has determined it is proper for it to review an agencys decision, the court must determine which standard of review to apply. While some standards of review allow for significant deference to an agencys decisions, others do not. There are three common standards of review courts will apply: de novo, substantial evidence, and arbitrary and capricious.
For this weeks assignment, you are to prepare a 3- to 5-slide PowerPoint presentation discussing the following:
