In the middle part of our class we are learning about the specifics behind various forms of crime. So far we have studied violent crime, violent crimes committed against women, as well as property crime and fraud. The question for the assignment is, which of these forms of crime have interested you the most so far, and why? Related, what crime prevention strategies from these subjects do you think will be the most effective, and why? Have these interests changed since Reflection #1? I will include the first reflection so you can answer this last question it talks about. I will also post the login info for the book for the class so you have access to the text.

Student A: My quote is from the second page of the syllabus:
“Students will upload a real-life picture indicating crime prevention efforts or fear of crime to share with the rest of the class”.
My argument / idea is that even though this is an online course, this assignment shows us we’ll have to engage with some real-life examples during the semester. Crime is such a hot topic so I will keep my eyes open for examples when I’m out in the community.
My question is: how does this assignment relate to the other ones on the syllabus?
