I’ve seen the quick-moving, creative world that computer scientists operate in since I grew up in a society that was more and more dependent on computers. I have been following the cutting-edge technological advancements that humanity has made in fascinating domains like AI and robotics since I was a little child. My undergraduate degree in computer science is now complete, having been earned from the University of the District of Columbia. I’ve loved learning about the topic at this level and am looking forward to moving on to more complicated material.
I had always been strong at mathematics since I was in school. In my teenage years, I developed a fascination with building my own computers. This gave me the chance to investigate the inner workings of computers and learn how each part works together to create a larger system. What I like about computers is that they have a lot of simple components hidden underneath their complicated frameworks.
I first worked with the hardware side before moving on to software research. I was initially intrigued by the many operating systems that were offered. I then continued to learn several programming languages, primarily Python, PHP. As a first-year undergraduate, I also had the wonderful opportunity to work with a group of classmates to create HealthyPlantsToday E-commerce web application. This was not just a really worthwhile learning experience, but I also really appreciated the collaborative aspect of creating.
My qualifications and interests have contributed over the course of my life to a growing fascination for computers. Computers are being used more and more in the world to aid with many of humanity’s challenges. Additionally, the variety of opportunities it offers makes computer science an exciting medium to work with. I think that this course’s educational opportunities will aid me in achieving my goals.
