   • make sure you select Full Text and Scholarly (Peer Reviewed) Journals
   • Put your author’s last name in one search box and select the field AU(THOR)
   • If there are co-authors include their names too because that helps narrow it down
2. Read the abstract and the first two pages of the Introduction section
3. Make a list of the scientific terms you don’t know, and write definitions for them
4. Make a list of the English vocabulary terms you don’t know or feel less comfortable with
5. Write a brief summary of the main findings of their research and why this is new/important (use the abstract and intro for this)
