Design (50 Points)

The following sections will be graded on a sliding scale of 1-10 points

Content (maximum 10 points):

• 0 points: (No content present on the website)
• 1-2 points: The site lacks a purpose or theme, most words are misspelled or content doesn’t make sense.
• 3-4 points: The purpose and theme of the website is vague, some words are misspelled.
• 5-7 points: The site has a clear purpose and theme but a few random points unrelated to that theme a few punctuation or spelling errors may be present.
• 8-10 points: The website has a clear and well-stated purpose/theme that carries throughout the website. There are no spelling or punctuation errors on the website.

Layout (maximum 10 points):

• 0 points: (No layout present on the website)
• 1-2 points: The website is cluttered and difficult to navigate. The site is confusing and it’s often difficult to locate important elements.
• 3-4 points: The website has a usable layout but appears either busy or boring. It is easy to locate most elements.
• 5-7 points: The website has an attractive and usable layout. Locating elements isn’t difficult but there’s room for more cohesive development.
• 8-10 points: The website has an exceptionally attractive and easy-to-use layout. White space and graphics are used effectively to organize materials.

Fonts (maximum 10 points):

• 0 points: (No text present on the website)
• 1-2 points: A wide variety of font sizes, types, and point sizes are used.
• 3-4 points: Font sizes are consistent and point sizes vary appropriately for headings and text. Some parts may be difficult to read.
• 5-7 points: Fonts are easy to read. Sizes of fonts and points are consistent and vary appropriately for headings and text.
• 8-10 points: Fonts are easy to read. Sizes of fonts and points are consistent and vary appropriately for headings and text. Overall fonts add to readability as well as enhance the overall theme of the website.

Graphics (maximum 10 points):

• 1-2 points: Graphics seem randomly chosen, low quality, and distracting.
• 3-4 points: Graphics are related to the theme/purpose of the site and are of fair quality. A few may be pixelated.
• 5-7 points: Graphics are related to the theme/purpose of the site and are of good quality. Graphics are not pixelated and enhance the user experience.
• 8-10 points: Graphics are related to the theme/purpose of the site and are of high quality. Graphics are thoughtfully cropped, not pixelated and enhance the user experience and overall understanding of the website.

Navigation (maximum 10 points):

• 0 points: (No navigation present on the website)
• 1-2 points: Navigation links don’t take users anywhere or to the proper pages described. May cause user frustration or to feel lost.
• 3-4 points: Navigation links take the user where they expect to go but there are 2 or fewer links.
• 5-7 points: Links for navigation are clearly labeled, allowing the user to easily move from page to page and internal links take the user where they expect to go.
• 8-10 points: Links for navigation are clearly labeled, consistently placed in the header/footer, allowing the user to easily move from page to page and internal links take the user where they expect to go. There are 3 or more links.

My website will be all about traveling since my goal is to travel around the world. I will set up a travel blog and share my adventures with the world. With a loyal following, I can start creating financial success for my blo
