Relationship between Obesity and Diabetes Type II Reply 1 Georgina:

Hello,

I would like to know with the data you will obtain, will you be able to show a pattern by assigning percentages to your groups? I was looking to make a pie chart or a bar graph for a visual that would assist in getting my findings across.

Relationship between Obesity and Diabetes Type II Reply 2 Yanira:

Hello everyone,

Obesity is one of the most significant issues in the United States. We have the most massive rate of obesity among children at a very young age and up to older adults. According to CDC research group, we have about 42.4% of people considered obese, and over the course of the years, it has increased up to 9.2%. Among obesity, it creates other health factors such as stroke, type 2 diabetes, and sometimes cancer. Type 2 diabetes has a high rate of increased by eating fast foods, red meat, or any food that the pancreas doesn’t easily break down. An obese organism works rapidly, and the body doesn’t produce or quickly break down the food, it turns everything into sugar, and it’s when the body begins to have issues with breaking down sugar.

For my study, I would choose a survey and systematic study to help me identify specific age groups for my population study. I would base it off on children from the age of 4-18 years of age. I would do a survey for children and their parents to answer my basic five variable questions to obtain necessary information such as physical activity, age, diet, family history of diabetes or obesity, weight. This will give me enough information to be able to identify those who are close to being obese and in danger of getting type 2 diabetes. Also, it’s really important to implement drawing blood and checking for any illness every year for children. We have fast-food in every corner and sometimes we feed our children food with preservatives that make it difficult for the food to break down and it’s what causes this big issue.
