Vaughndlyn -So far, my mentor has shown me that she has an incredible work ethic. She is resilient and keeps her composure when things turn chaotic. All the while- she always wears an approachable smile. When considering the Code of Ethics at her organization, we have not had a specific conversation regarding it, however I can see first-hand how she operates and how she conducts herself with various departments or when speaking directly to the families of patients. That is something I am very aware of because at the end of the day, you are a representation of that organization.
As of right now, I am most shocked about how my mentor writes everything down so that if it cannot be addressed immediately, she can follow up. While attending meetings with her, she gives me a copy of the agenda and asked me to take notes of the conversations happening so we can discuss it afterwards. She said her purpose of this was to ensure I was listening thoroughly to what was taking place.

I see these in motion when it comes to patient care, as well as business meetings that pertain to patient care. The staff is always thoughtful and compassionate when considering the needs and desires that best benefit said patients.
