Things to consider in your reflection as you think about your definitions
- Is motive a factor? Is outcome a factor? Are rewards or punishments a factor?
- Are there any influential movements, ideas, religions, spiritualities, thought process or other ideas that influence how you think about happiness and/or morality?
- Are there certain philosophers or other influential people that influence these ideas? What are some things they say or have written?
- Any terms from the book or the PPTs apply?
- Does good and bad factor into your/their interpretation?
- Does right and wrong factor into your/their interpretation?
- Does just and unjust factor into your/their interpretation?
- Does fair and unfair factor into your/their interpretation?
- Is the philosophy relative to other people? Is it more individual based or more of a communal idea?
