Tips to Writing Effective Radio Commercials (Spots)
- Be creative.If it sounds like all of the rest of the commercials, it will not stand out.
- Use jingles, absurdity, multi-voices, sound effects, etc.
- Get your listeners attention immediately.
- Use the name of the product, store (whatever is being advertised) at least three times in the 30 second spot.
- Write in a conversational style.
