In this chapter 2, verses 14, James begins with the issue of giving better treatment to wealthy people than to poor people. However, the latter are of good faith and pious; the rich may be well dressed and adorned in gold but not good people or pious. In verse 4, James warns people against the hypocrisy of being judgmental in the way we treat others. Favoritism for the rich over the poor demonstrates a lack of faith. God has chosen the poor to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom.’ This is so because the poor are often more responsive to the good news (1 Corinthians 1:26-29). God teaches us in Holy Scripture that the human race is one, rich or poor. Within this greater context of unity, humanity’s diversity rightly appears. Such diversity often begins with justifiable suspicions about cultural imperialism and racial prejudice (rich man & poor man). However, it ends by shattering the human community into a thousand fragments. Each fragment is a subculture zealously defending its interests against all the others.

Diversity is all about us both as a gift to be celebrated and an opportunity to be developed. The idea of diversity embraces respect and acceptance. It means understanding that each individual is unique and recognizing our differences. These can be related to race, gender, age, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, political beliefs, physical abilities, or other ideologies. Genesis 1:27-28 tells us that God created man in his own image. In God’s image, he created; males and females. God blessed them and said, Be fruitful, multiply, replenish the earth, and subdue it. Therefore, diversity is a gift to be celebrated and an opportunity to develop. These all represent facets of our mission field, including our educational experiences, personal style, and cultural legacy. The Apostle Paul serving as seemingly the first cross-cultural missionary became “all things to all people.” Today, leaders must work efficiently in cross-cultural issues and settings. Leaders must develop the awareness, sensitivity, knowledge, and skills needed to lead effectively to respect different cultural values and beliefs. The Bible instructs that we should view others through the eyes of Jesus, not according to appearance, material worth, position, or race. We should continually examine ourselves, our motives, and our perceptions.

Management feedback is vital as needed because employees want to know about their performance. Feedback also gives employees a chance to contribute ideas to projects. Communication is essential for the employees and management. Here are three ways why feedback from management is necessary:
- 1. Feedback strengthens the relationship between employees and management- The process of feedback requires the whole team to work together, plan, and review each others performance.
- Feedback increases employees motivation- This method advises the management of the staffs strengths and weaknesses. In addition, this is an opportunity for the command to show appreciation and recognize employees for their outstanding work. Every employee wants to hear they are doing a great job.
- Feedback enhances personal improvement-Feedback should be given as often as needed. Managers should be honest with their reviews. Employees tend to accept constructive criticism better when positively and helpfully. In addition, the feedback method is an excellent opportunity to bring the team together (Nguyen, 2018).

As a manager, you are most likely to forget what your employee did throughout the year, and your reviews may be clouded by recency bias. Continuous feedback can help establish a two-way communication channel between the employee and their manager. Below is a list of three ways why feedback is needed more than one time a year.
- It can increase productivity because it motivates the employee. It gives that extra push most of us need to try a new approach.
- It can improve engagement. Some employees are unhappy with the amount of feedback they are receiving. So when they receive feedback regularly it helps them work better.
- It provides an accurate account of employee performance. It makes the performance review process a whole lot easier.
