The evolution of the Web is leading us to Web 3.0 (aka Web3). Web3 is a democratized web based on an open-source application that gives users complete control of their data and the means to share in the profits generated by their content. Examples of Web3 include the metaverse, blockchain technology-enhanced transactions, and non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
