Using a protractor and ruler, carefully draw A+B+C+E on a piece of graph paper, using the head–to–tail method to add the four vectors. Start drawing vector A in the lower–left corner of your graph paper. Measure each box on the graph paper and set a scale (1 N = 2 cm for example). Using a ruler, measure the error in your experiment – a directed line from the starting point to the ending points. Carefully measure the start and end points of each vector (in cm) as measured from the start of vector A (assume that location is the origin). The gap between the end of vector E and the origin is the error. Measure the error in cm and convert this into a force in Newtons using your scale.
