Think about the things that you have always wondered about people and why and how they think, feel, and behave the way that they do. Maybe you have questions that you have always wanted to answer about yourself and how or why you think, feel, or act the way that you do.

Now, think of a research question in psychology that interests you. What is a question that you want to know the answer to?
- In your textbook, revisit the following sections: The Scientific Method, Research Basics, Descriptive and Correlational Methods, and The Experimental Method and their associated keywords (defined in the margins of each page) and examples.
- Think about how you could use one of the research methods (e.g., case study, survey, experiment) described in your textbook to answer your question.
- Think about your hypothesis (a testable prediction).
- Think about the participants in your study and what they would do.
